I always look for products that combine function with fashion. In other words I want it to perform well with style.

The Runetz case fits the bill on both accounts. I have a MacBook Pro 13' with Retina and Kuzy frost/clear rubberized hard case and it fits PERFECT in the case!!! Not too tight. Not too loose. I originally bought Caselogic PAS-213 13 inch case; however, it was too sloppy for my taste.

Plus with space in my backpack at a premium I want my cases as small as possible. I usually keep my power cord separate; however, there is room in the side pocket for power cord, ear buds, mouse (there will be a noticeable bulge). The neoprene case is well constructed and is a little thicker than some neoprene case I have had in the past. The 'egg shell' neoprene lined. This laptop cover provides the necessary yet slim protection one needs for their macbook pro while commuting to and from the workplace. The synthetic materials seem like they will last as long as a new computer. The zippers are rugged, and travel smoothly.

The front compartment is a step up from the last sleeve that I owned, and should be a decent storage space for accessory wires etc. All in all, it does the job for very little money, and I am convinced it is the best simple sleeve on the market for a 13 macbook. Okay, okay what's with the title?

First of all, I wanted you to remember how much you've already invested in your Laptop. For example, all of the research, and all the time, and all of the effort you've already spent to find the 'best' possible solution you could afford. After all, if you're like me you've probably spent as much time doing all the associated research as you did before buying your house or your car.

Because, let's face it buying a Laptop computer is a major investment. To that point, before I bought my car I had to consider all of the harsh elements the finish of my car would be exposed to?

Just as important how should I protect it from those elements. Likewise, what should I do to protect my Laptop and how much protection could I afford? This is a review for the 14.1 inch case, the 1st one I bought. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad U410, which is a 14 inch laptop, with dimensions 13.5x9.25x0.8 in. The advertised size it can hold is 13.5 x 9.6 x 1.2 in.

So depending how Lenovo rounded the length of its laptop, and how Case Logic rounded the length of a laptop that it can hold, there's a chance that my laptop would not fit. This was slightly disappointing for me, since I was under the impression it can hold any (thin) laptop less than 14.1 inches, but it did not fit mine. I was happy with my laptop, so I returned this case for the Case Logic AUA-316 15.6-Inch case, which I will write a separate review for. The case itself is great. The materials used were of high quality.

Protective Carrying Case For Macbook Pro

I got this to protect my newly purchased Samsung Chromebook and I love it!! - It holds and protects it perfectly. Feels substantial when toting my chromebook around. I took my laptop ( in the 17.3 inch version ) and my chromebook out - unintentionally - in the rain in only their respective Case Logic sleeves and got I got SOAKED. But my gadgets were, to my surprise, completely dry!! Highly recommended, inexpensive and are perfect for my needs.

I wanted this for its slim design over my current sling case for my notebook and learned one important thing - the larger and more versatile the case, the more junk you want to throw into it. You know, for those just-in-case scenarios.

The problem with that is that I never used more than 90% of the extra accessories I threw into my bag, making for a heavier carry every single time. With this slim case, it has enough for my 13' MacBook Pro Retina (and still fits fine with a plastic case), and just the right number of accessories for me to be on the go - a flash drive, AC adapter, portable battery for my iPhone, and a few cables. I was initially concerned that the side pocket was just an open slip, but in fact, IT DOES HAVE A ZIPPER ENCLOSURE which they didn't show. I wanted to protect my macbook, but I hated to put a case on my computer. This case seemed like a nice compromise - a thin bag to safely slip my laptop in when I'm not using it. It protects my macbook from scratches and bumps, has a retractable handle to carry it, is well made and soft on the inside.

If you are looking for maximum protection for your computer, this might night be the case for you. If you just want to protect your laptop when you're not using it or when you want to slip it into your backpack, this case fits the bill. Great protection all around and it even looks better once it's in front of you. Pictures posted from other customers show that it fits the iPad Pro and even with enough room incase you want to add a case to it. I tried out the sleeve with the Macbook 2015 and it looks great as well.

I really love the handle, maybe it might not be necessary for most, but for me a college student that carries a backpack, a lunch bag and sometimes extra books, a case with a handle comes in handy. A very important thing for me is the outside zippered compartment, there I can add my charging devices and my stylus without worrying that it will fall out. As you can see in the pictures, there is enough room to add a wider tablet.
